    First IVF Clinic in Zambia

    Pioneering fertility care since 2013

    Clinical Record

In 2013, when reproductive medicine was virtually unknown in Zambia, Dr. Edward Tamale-Sali took a bold step. He established the country's first dedicated IVF clinic in Lusaka, bringing hope to thousands of couples who previously had to travel abroad for fertility treatment.

    The Story Behind This Milestone

    Breaking New Ground

Before 2013, Zambian couples facing infertility had limited options—travel abroad at great expense, or accept childlessness. We changed that. By establishing the first IVF facility, we brought Specialist reproductive medicine to Zambia's doorstep.

    Building a Centre of Excellence

From day one, we invested in the best equipment, trained with international specialists, and built a laboratory that meets global standards. Our embryologists and fertility specialists continue to train internationally to bring the latest techniques home.

    More Than a Clinic

We didn't just build a clinic—we created a sanctuary for hope. A place where couples could find compassionate care, cutting-edge treatment, and the understanding they deserved after years of struggle.
